About
Requirements Forge

We built the peer review that a Senior BA would give — structured, specific, and honest — and made it available to every team before a single line of code is written.

Mission

Catch What Reaches Developers Before It Gets There

Most software rework traces back to requirements that weren't clear enough before development started. The acceptance criteria weren't testable. A business rule was ambiguous. Two conditions in the same requirement contradicted each other. Nobody caught it until a developer asked — or until the sprint review revealed a feature that wasn't what the stakeholder meant.

An experienced Business Analyst would have caught those gaps in a peer review. But peer review doesn't always happen — there isn't always time, and not every team has a seasoned BA with spare capacity to read another analyst's draft.

Requirements Forge is that peer review: structured, consistent, and fast. It reviews requirements the way a Senior BA would — against five categories, with severity scoring, concrete recommendations, and the specific language from the requirement itself. Not a generic checklist. Not a template to fill in. A real review, in seconds.

The goal is simple: more requirements that reach developers in a state where they can be implemented correctly and verified objectively. Less rework. Less ambiguity. Clearer handoffs.

Values

What We Build From

Quality First

The only thing we build is a tool that makes software requirements better before they reach development. We don't chase tangential features. We don't add things because they look impressive on a feature list. Every decision starts with whether it makes the core review more accurate, more useful, or more honest.

Human Judgment Matters

The system performs the first pass. The BA, Product Owner, or Consultant who knows the stakeholders, the domain, and the delivery context always owns the final requirement. Requirements Forge is a coaching tool — not a replacement for the analyst's expertise. We don't pretend otherwise.

Clarity Over Complexity

A requirements review should be faster and clearer than doing it manually, not more cumbersome. Every finding comes with an explanation of why it matters — not just a label. The scoring is transparent. The categories are consistent. If something is hard to understand, that's a product problem to fix.

Practical Innovation

We use automation where it genuinely helps — structured review, artifact generation, document drafting. We don't use it as a buzzword or bolt it on where a simple rule would do the job better. The measure of whether automation is in the right place is whether the output is actually trustworthy.

Honest Product Design

We don't claim features we haven't built. We don't show fake testimonials, invented customer logos, or vanity statistics. The pricing page reflects what's actually available. The product page describes what's actually built. If something is coming, we say it's coming — we don't present it as if it's already here.

Scope

A Focused Tool, Not a Platform

Requirements Forge is a requirements review engine. It is not a project management tool, a backlog tracker, a requirements generation platform, or an enterprise governance system.

We export to the tools your team already uses — Azure DevOps, Jira, Excel — rather than asking you to replace them. We generate artifacts and documents that belong in those systems, not a parallel system you'd have to maintain alongside them.

We think the best version of Requirements Forge is a tool that does one thing exceptionally well — reviews requirements before they reach development — and integrates cleanly with the rest of your workflow.
